vendredi le 2 mai

Today in French, we went through our literacy centres, and continued to work on our contes des enfants - after a brief mini-lesson reminding us of the importance of conjugating verbs correctly! We also took a little time to share our work, and ask each other questions. This feedback will help us make our pieces the best they can be. In language, we used our bump-up wall and our specific feedback to work on synthesizing using the poem "Carousel". I'm impressed at the depth of the responses I've received so far! In math we worked on a challenging problem involving unit rate, and used our new math board for consolidation. Finally, we took some time to clean our our desks, and to give ourselves feedback on our math poster assignments. This is a wonderful way for students to learn how to make their work better; by reflecting on it and thinking about what we did well, and what we could have done differently.

This weekend:
-please make sure your Camp Wildfire money is in! -please complete the synthesis activity on "Carousel" if it was not completed in class.

Bon week-end!
