Today we began our week by launching back into French class! We went through a run at our French centres, and spent some time writing our children's stories. I'm very excited for these - they'll be a great example of how much French everyone has learned this year! In language we practiced synthesis with an article that, sadly, announced the death of renowned Canadian author Farley Mowat. We got to look at why he was so influential, and why his legacy will live on. In math, we reviewed our rates and ratios in preparation for tomorrow's test. Finally, in gym, students got to pick out equipment of their choice to get a physical workout in.
For homework tonight:
-Study for tomorrow's test! A review sheet went home, and if you check last Friday's blog entry, you'll find links to resources for additional practice.
-Please complete the Farley Mowat synthesis article if you haven't done so already.
-The children's stories are due on Friday, so keep working hard at them!
Et c'est tout! Au revoir, tout le monde!
