In French today, we tried an interesting activity: We role-played a situation in which one person was a tourist lost in a French-speaking city, and the other was a local. Students had to come up with questions or ideas to find their way back to safety! In language we had a chat about "showing, not telling" when it comes to character descriptions, and worked on our myths. In math, we continued to work on our tessellation art. They're coming together really nicely! We also spent some time reviewing factors and prime numbers, a concept we haven't touched on in a while and needed to refresh.
For homework tonight:
-The tessellation art is due in math on Wednesday.
-The myth will be collected on Tuesday, June 10th.
-It's our final day of EQAO tomorrow! Grade 6s - rest up and come in at 9 tomorrow. Good luck, and Goodfellow is proud of all of you!
See you all tomorrow!
